I illustrated the portraits of my parents’ grandchildren in Procreate during Covid. Each drawing is built up from what feels like 73,102,410,280,468 crisscrossing hatch marks sketched at different angles. It took about 15 months to complete all five, finishing in time to become Christmas gifts.
